Royal Enfield’s new generation Himalayan 450 adventure bike will become costlier from January 1. The company launched it at its annual biking event Motoverse-2023 held in Goa on November 24 at an introductory price of Rs 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom). If a customer books the bike before January 1, but chooses to change the color in the new year, the new price will be applicable. However, if the change in color occurs before December 31, the customer will get the benefit of the initial price.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 has won the title of ‘Indian Motorcycle of the Year 2024’. This was followed by Triumph Scrambler 400X and KTM Duke 390 at second and third position respectively. Contenders also included Hero Karizma XMR, Harley Davidson X440, Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 and TVS Apache RTR 310.

The new Himalayan has a round shaped instrument console. The company claims that this is the world’s first round TFT instrument console. This round dash shows all the important things including music, phone connectivity and navigation with the help of Google Maps. In India, the bike competes with the KTM 390 Adventure SW, Yezdi Adventure, BMW G310 GS and Triumph Scrambler 400X.

Talking about the features, the new generation Himalayan 452 gets integrated Google Maps, switchable rear ABS, riding modes, all LED lighting setup, 4-inch round shaped TFT instrument cluster with rear tail lights, which also work as turn indicators.
